Re: 7/21/12 - Reds vs. Brewers

If the Reds win tonight, they'll be in a virtual tie with Washington (marginally behind on percentage points) for the best record in the National League. Kinda hard to believe.

Washington has a game tonight, so they need to lose too for us to be in 1st.

Good start, they trail Paul Janish and the Braves 2-0.

Yeah, sorry. I saw they had lost earlier but didn't realize they played a doubleheader.

That shirt is pretty funny

I wish Dusty would try Paul in the leadoff spot for a couple games. Guy has some speed and looks like he can take a walk. Has to be at least comparable to what Stubbs is bringing to the plate at this point. Hes got to get a start first I guess.

I'm surprised Macy's doesn't have it.

Nice win tonight and the Reds are 14 games over .500. Kelch said the Reds have the most wins in the NL now too. Looks like the Pirates are here to stay. Just have to beat them when they play them in two weeks.

Bounce back for Bronson would be nice tonight. Gallardo had 14K's in his last start. Lets hope we can jump on him early. Is it me or does it seem like these Reds need 5 or so innings to get the feel of the other teams starter?

Bronson looked sharp in the first. 3 quick outs.

Bruce bounces a single up the middle! Cozart scores, BP to third.

1-0 Reds.
