I'm liking the idea of giving Bruce some extra rest. He hasn't looked like the normal Jay Bruce this last week, and I think giving him a few days off is a good idea.

Setback for Votto. He returned to Cincinnati last night and had minor procedure to remove piece of floating cartilage. #reds

So was Heisey off due to being banged up or was Dusty giving groin shots allowing Leake to swing twice last night?

With the Votto news Bruce better come back and get it in gear after his break. Ludwick and Frazier can't do all the work.
