Re: 9/14/2012 Reds at Marlins
All I know is that I can't wait for tonight to watch some real baseball. The ONLY game on this afternoon is the Pirates at the Cubs - talk about an unpleasant experience!

The Pirates are getting beat 4-0 by the Cubs. Good chance the Pirates will be in 4th place by the end of the day.

Re: 9/14/2012 Reds at Marlins
I'd rather have Stubbs at #2, but I'm guessing the Reds are giving Stubbs a chance to prove he's productive at the bottom of the order, since he was struggling at the top.. So in the big picture, I can understand batting Valdez #2.

The fences of this stadium make me feel like I'm going blind. Looks like they colored it in with a green highlighter

Bottom 1st: Miami
- B. Petersen struck out looking - J. Ruggiano popped out to second - J. Reyes singled to left center - G. Stanton struck out swinging Top 2nd: Cincinnati - R. Ludwick flied out to center - J. Bruce flied out to deep center - T. Frazier doubled to left - T. Frazier to third on wild pitch - D. Stubbs grounded out to third Frazier already looks like the days off helped him, Stubbs still looks lost. Bottom 2nd: Miami - Lee struck out looking - Dobbs flied out to deep center - Solano flied out to center Top 3rd: Cincinnati - Hanigan grounds out to third - Arroyo strikes out - BP lines out to third

Re: 9/14/2012 Reds at Marlins
that was a perfect example of don't give in..a walk is ok. Pitch to the guy you want to pitch too. Leake could learn from that. Arroyo...the crafty veteran..

1-0 Marlins after 3.
