Dayn Perry lists Homer Bailey as High-A level All-Star

P — Homer Bailey — Sarasota, Florida State League (Reds)
Age: 20
Acquired: 1st round, 2004, La Grange HS (La Grange, TX)
2006 Top 100 Rank: #91

Bailey's mid-90s heater and hard curve are great pitches, but in past seasons he's struggled with his control and to develop his off-speed stuff. This season, however, Bailey sports a 3.31 ERA, improved control and more strikeouts than innings. It's good progress for one of the most promising live arms in the minors
