? about Johnny Cueto
Where exactly did he come from? I thought I read somewhere that he was an undrafted FA, but I find that hard to believe because he can hit 96 on the gun. Was he a signing from the Dominican?

He was signed out of the Dominican Republic by Johnny Almarez in March of 2004.

Sorry to be asking all these questions but was this his first year in the US?? He wasn't even on the Reds extended depth chart in the BA prospect handbook. Thanks

No, it was not his first year in the US. Last season he pitched with the GCL Reds.
