Re: 9/12/06 - Reds vs. Padres Game Thread
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed Nothin' seems to fit Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin' So I just did me some talkin' to the sun And I said I didn't like the way he got things done Sleepin' on the job Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin' But there's one thing I know The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me Raindrops keep fallin' on my head But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red Cryin's not for me 'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin' Because I'm free Nothin's worryin' me [trumpet] It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me Raindrops keep fallin' on my head But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red Cryin's not for me 'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin' Because I'm free Nothin's worryin' me

Any updates on Ken?
I'm a little shocked that he was out more than a game or two as first reported. They are usually so accurate and forthright in those assessments.

He is using this as an excuse to call it a season. Do you think that Freel would of missed a week with a dislocated toe??? Please.....

They are actually well above .500 without him in the line-up.

Re: 9/12/06 - Reds vs. Padres Game Thread
The Win/loss record says otherwise. I know it does not make since, but we are like 8-10 games over .500 without him in the line-up this year.

Oh I see injuries are convenient excuses for Jr. He must be thrilled with all the injuries he's had to get out of playing full seasons. Lucky guy.

Re: 9/12/06 - Reds vs. Padres Game Thread
I can see both sides of the coin here. I'm sure playing CF with a banged up toe hurts, but I think one of the corner OF positions would be a little easier. It is a playoff race.
