Doug Bair??????
Someone told me last night that they had read somewhere that Doug Bair was named the pitching coach. Has anyone else heard this? I have no idea if it is true; just a rumor I heard.
I have not heard anything about him for many years. I believe he had two stints with the Reds late 70's early 80's. I think he also pitched for the A's.

I believe he was named pitching coach for the Dayton Dragons team, not the main ballclub.
