if the bears make the superbowl with that pathetic excuse for a quarterback, it will be a sad day...

I doubt 3 teams from the AFC West make it to the playoffs. The Broncos and Chargers face each other one more time, and the Chargers and the Chiefs play each other one more time. Besides that, the Broncos are now starting a rookie QB. I really think the last WC spot will come down to either Jacksonville or Cincy.

Somebodys got to step up on the Colts defense for them to win the Super Bowl especially if they play the Chargers with Ladainian Tomlinson.

Dallas put a hurting on Indy a few weeks ago and I think they will do it again. Tony Romo is the real deal and has energized that franchise. They are the NFC's best offense. They have two quality RB's and a great receiving corps. One of the 2 or 3 best defenses in the NFC, if not the best. They held 10-0 Indy to 14 points. Best punter in the NFC. The only question is the kicking game but Gramatica should be fine. Right now there just isn't a better team in the NFC.

Re: NFL Playoff Predictions

If Cincinnati beats Baltimore on Thursday, they have a real shot at the WC. If not, it's Chiefs and Broncos.

I predict that the Cleveland Browns will not make the playoffs. So also missing will be the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals.

Your predictions look reasonable on paper, but you don't seem to be allowing for many/any upsets of the top teams along the way. Teams like Jacksonville and Tennessee look like a "W" at first glance, but it won't pay to take them lightly, and the top teams will trip up somewhere between now and the end of the season. I guess what I'm saying is that I think the win totals for your four AFC division winners and the Bears from the AFC are inflated.

Oh, and TS, didn't you mean that Ind would go 15-1?

Well getting Mike Doss, Bob Sanders and Gary Brackett back from injuries will help. Bob Sanders, our best defensive player, has only played in one game (Vs. New England) and I think our defense is a lot better with him on the field. Mike Doss, our second best defender hasn't played since week 7, forcing a corner back to play safety.

Obviously the Colts D is still going to have it hands full with LT even with all of those guys back, but I think they can do a good enough job to give the offense a chance. What I am worried about is San Diego's 3-4 defense. It killed the Colts last year and the Cowboys played it this year and killed the offense. I am hoping that Peyton and the coaching staff can come up with a game plan, the emergence of Addai as a solid back could make a difference.

So there is your Colts report, I know everyone is very interested.

Re: NFL Playoff Predictions

lol yeah my bad...

I think Dallas will cool off some once playoff/super bowl time comes. I'm doubting a team can hold Peyton to 14 pts again... but who knows?

I'm not as big on SD as most people are though. Raiders almost beat them

Doss is out for the season and honestley I wonder about Sanders coming back. The Colts defense really is bad but if they come up with some turnovers and make a few stops then I think this is the year for them.

I see you like the Raiders' chances of turning things around. I will call my bookie. :

Selig, you're overrated the Colts. I like SD over Dallas as well. Bias? Sure. But if I wasn't bias I could go Dallas over SD or Dallas over NE. Put Manning on the Bears and they're my pick.
