As much as I like to see Hamilton play, nice spot for a day off here against the lefty...

Conine batting cleanup? Normally I would have a problem with it up he's got a hot bat right now.

Re: 4/14/07 at Chicago

Phillips needs to be at SS so that Hamilton can get in the lineup. It just amazes me the things Narron does with his lineup. It would be totally different if BP couldnt play short but he can.It just baffles me how he could put Castro in over Josh.

Re: 4/14/07 at Chicago

lefty on the mound, I'd say good move keeping Josh out of the lineup.

Except doesn't he hit lefties better than right handers even or was that some hyperbole spouted by an announcer somewhere?

I don't know about Hamilton, but Dunn hit 40ish points better off lefties last year...

This year in a small sample size, however, dunn is hitting .500 off righties and only .158 off lefties. His .583 OBP against righties is SICK.

His line so far (ADMITTED small sample size):

L- .158/.200/.158
R- .500/.583/1.15

Servers, prepare...

Lineup shock, lineup shock...

"No Hamilton"..."Conine 4th"...the only thing that may save the RZ is only 40 minutes to break this down into totally unitelligible minutia...

Man, Hill was really good against us last year...14 IP, 2.57 ERA, only 3 BB, 20 K and a .125 BAA...let's change this today...
