Re: Prospect Draft

I choose as my adopted prospect Justin Reed.
4.Justin Reed(CF-Hillcrest Christian Academy-MS)

Comments:He's very athletic with a football scholarship to Mississippi. Speed is his best tool, though he has shown improvement with the bat and in CF.

Redleader welcome back and yes I have a big home so I will adopt a 2nd round prospect

Re: Prospect Draft

I'll take Jay Bruce - yeah, I know he's decent, but he's in Dayton and I gt tickets to watch him.

I'll take a second if there are others'. I might take a third - but that would be of a personal nature - and not as much of a prospect as others.

I PM'd Shaknb8k...he's on the clock.

Re: Prospect Draft

With the 3rd pick in the 2006 Top Prospect Redszone.com Draft; Shaknb8k selects OF from Billings, Drew Stubbs.

Rumor going around the Shaknb8k camp is that signablilty was a factor in the number one overall selection. Any truth to that Topcat?......Im just messing with you; by the way thanks for the idea. I love it and im looking forward to getting into this.

Shaknb8k will have a 2nd round selection.

Re: Prospect Draft

It doesn't really matter to me...but if I have to choose, I'll go with everyone's favorite lefty: Travis Wood.

Re: Prospect Draft

I'd like to go with Votto, but Buckeye Redleg has done such a nice job with him elsewhere that I have to leave him be... I'll take a sleeper, a guy who might one day find himself on a major league roster as a utility guy, Michael Griffin.

Re: Prospect Draft

I'd like to take Votto. I'm not sure if lollipop is referring to me or Redleg Nation (above) but I don't see Redleg Nation in the draft and since I already have a thread on Votto, I guess I'll take him.

If that's a problem, I can choose someone else.

Re: Prospect Draft

I'll take Richie Gardner, if we still consider him a prospect, since I am interested to watch him in his comeback.

Re: Prospect Draft

Hey, take the chatter to another thread, this thread is all business. Just kidding. HBP is on the clock in the first round. Kind of surprised by the picks thus far.

Re: Prospect Draft

I'll take Milton Loo

I'm very interested to see what he can do in the GCL, also I figure it will be more fun following an everyday player instead of a pitcher.

Re: Prospect Draft

I haven't seen anyone type "PASS" on future rounds after they have picked. Do all of you want at least a 2nd prospect when we get back to you? No problem if you do or if you don't, just trying to save time down the road...
