The Tudors on Showtime
Anyone else catch The Tudors on Showtime in the last three weeks?
I'd TiVo'd all three episodes, and finally watched them tonight. Wow - I think I've found a new favorite show. Excellent period piece. They fudge a little on the historical accuracy, but the acting's been excellent so far and the show has been made very well. Not exactly tame, and some of the parts are a tad on the raunchy side - but that was Tudor England and Henry VIII so they haven't pulled any punches. Just in time with the Sopranos going off the air here in the next few weeks. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a new drama. |

I have been wathcing. It's very good. Very good history lesson on how the Church of England broke away from the Catholic Church.
