Doesn't Microsoft own Google or have something to do with Google?

Re: Microsoft to buy Yahoo!?

Nope, MS sees Google as enemy number 1, that's why they want to buy yahoo.

Re: Microsoft to buy Yahoo!?

Google owns Google (which now owns YouTube). Microsoft owns MSN (why they want Yahoo). Interactive Media owns Ask.com. News Corp owns MySpace.

Re: Microsoft to buy Yahoo!?

I haven't forgotten that Microsoft is the company that declared about 3 years ago that the Internet was stagnant, so there wouldn't be a need to produce any new versions of their browser.

Yahoo has a lot of cool tools and information sources that I use regularly. I haven't considered anything produced by Microsoft to be cool or amazing since Excel back in 1987. I don't want to see the tools I use at Yahoo get mired in the muck of Microsoft's mediocrity or to have Microsoft decide that there is no need to continue improving them, just like there was no need to improve Internet Explorer.

Google also has a licensing which allows them to provide search features for MySpace.

Microsoft might have more money than God.

I haven't done any research but I don't see Microsoft being any improvement of Yahoo.

I love Yoohoo, but I don't understand what Microsoft would want with a chocolate flavored drink
