If you are broke, I think I agree with the idea of cooking for her.. maybe do something a little more romantic than hamburgers. A couple cheap candles and cheap flowers. And then rent one of those boring romantic DVDs that chicks love. (Note: American Pie: the Naked Mile doesn't count )

You should be able to do that for less than $20.

Maybe you could mow her yard into a mini-baseball field? Throw down the foul lines, put in a batters box, and to go the extra mile, trim a few shrubs to resemble foul poles. If she's an "old school" kinda gal, leave the dirt stripe from the batters box to the pitchers mound.
