Re: Reds Vs Astros 5/10
I still am completely baffled with Phillips as a top or middle order of the hitter.
He profiles to a 6/7 hole hitter until he learns not to get himself out on bad pitches with less than 2 strikes(which he does continually).

If people thought Edwin was bad defensively at 3B, wait until they see Freel playing there everyday. |

Agree 100% on Freel. I am ok with sending EE down if its in his best interest long term. If they think this is in the Reds best interest to help win now they are more clueless in the FO than I thought. |

Wonder if Freel will get benched when he makes an error at third?

Not if he hustles while he does it.

Re: Reds Vs Astros 5/10
Freel won't be playing every day. You forget that we have a stud defensiveman in Castro. Sure he can't hit, but neither can Gonzalez (well, he's not supposed to be able to hit)

Re: Reds Vs Astros 5/10
With EE gone doesnt Castro look good in that starting lineup.I say get used to it.While I think Castro is good on the bench I just dont agree with how much JN starts him.

Re: Reds Vs Astros 5/10
Castro is starting, not because EE is in the minors, but becasue Gonzo is having the day off.

Re: Reds Vs Astros 5/10
6-3 Astros. Or 6-2. Reds get 7 hits.
I will be stunned if the Reds win this game.
