Children of Men

Has anybody else seen this?

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Yep. Great movie. One of the four best movies I've seen in the last year along with the Namesake, Pan's Labyrinth, and Casino Royale.

Re: Children of Men

I also thought it was a pretty good flick.

I was surpised how realistic the violence was in the urban warfare scenes...

Re: Children of Men

Loved it. As Blimpie said, the urban warfare scenes were really intense and seemed pretty realistic. Pretty thought provoking movie.

Re: Children of Men

I really enjoyed how the director utilized only a single camera to pan different aspects throughout a scene. That technique was especially effective for the urban warfare scenes; made them much more chaotic, exciting, and visceral.
