Team by team clubhouse alcohol policy
http://www.bizofbaseball.com/index.p...1123&Itemid=86
The Reds only allow beer in their home clubhouse, but allow beer and liquor in the visitor clubhouse. A couple of teams it seems allow 1 case of beer. 24 bottles of beer for a 25 man team.

Makes sense for them to give the visiting team more rope, since they most likely aren't going to have cars like the home team's players would.

Re: Team by team clubhouse alcohol policy
And they may have a tougher time playing with a nice hangover.

Re: Team by team clubhouse alcohol policy
I like the fact that each team decides it's own policy for itself, rather than MLB dictating one across the board.

Hey Adam, those people bought the beer themselves and they aren't drinking it at their place of employment.

Re: Team by team clubhouse alcohol policy
That may be so but I bet he doesn't love a fight with the players' union even more. MLB dictates an alcohol policy, bam, the players' union gets involved. Best to have the individual clubs do this on their own.
