Jerry Narron would rather Norris Hopper and Jeff Conine receieve more atbats in a game than Adam Dunn? Wow. Jerry Narron continues to amaze me with his stupidity.

Bright side: no Castro. It's not much but it's something.

Keppinger>Castro

I'll give JN credit for that.

Good grief Narron. But outside of Dunn and Jr., that is one weak, weak, weak lineup, just an absymal collection of stiffs, outside of BP and Freel.

I like Hopper in the 2 hole since Hamilton is out. But is there any good reasoning why Conine is batting 5th?? It puts two righties back to back and Dunn should be there.

Better than last night, but I would have preferred:

Freel cf
Phillips 2b
Griffey dh
Dunn lf
Conine 1b
Gonzalez ss
Hopper rf
Keppinger 3b
Ross c

The one time his lefty-righty fetish would make sense and he botches it. Narron's the best.

Hopper should never bat above 7th, maybe 8th.

I give up.

It's a wonder he ever gets a pitch to hit.

The lake-effect rain has cleared for now, the grounds crew is getting the field ready.

Hopefully lake Erie cooperates tonight

The grounds crew is working on home plate right now. Hope we get it in tonight. I certainly don't want a doubleheader tomorrow. Good thing I packed extra undies if we've got to play two. Jerry's talking to the grounds crew right now.

Re: 5/19/2007 - Reds vs. Indians - Game 2

Maybe in another month Conine will get bumped down another notch...

of course, knowing Narron, it'll be Gonzalez getting bumped up, not Dunn. (AND OH YEAH, IF DUNN SLUMPS WHATSOEVER>>> FUHGEDDABOUTIT)
