Re: 6/3/07 Minors Updates
Szymanski just homered for the 6th time this year. He has a .993 OPS vs lefties and .560 against RHP. He needs to give up switch-hitting.

Wow. Very nice outing for Cueto. He's beginning to come on strong.

Re: 6/3/07 Minors Updates
Chris Dickerson is 3-4 and has his batting average up to .253 in AAA. With the defense he plays, look for him to push Hamilton to once of the corner spots after Griffey and/or Dunn is traded later in the year if he continues to hit.

Re: 6/3/07 Minors Updates
Cueto is a stud. I've heard it before, but there was a section in the DDN today that talked about Cueto and how some scouts like him just as much as Homer Bailey. I've only seen Johnny pitch an inning or so, but even in that small sample size I came away very impressed with Cueto. He throws plenty of heat (93-96) to go along with a nasty slider and a solid changeup that he learned from Mario Soto.
