Guy we should go for on the cheap: Jesse Foppert.
He's had about one half of a big league season. Gave up less hits than IP, that's always a plus, and had some good K numbers. He gives up the long ball kinda frequently though, and he walks guys.
Fortunately, he could be had for a song, and I think he'd be better if not as a starter, than at least better than Majewski and Santos out of the BP. Thoughts?
