West Virginia lost a hero today!!!

I lost one of my closest friends!! Please pray for the family of Justin "JT" Thompson. He was killed in a car accident early this morning. It is so tragic. Make sure to keep the family in your hearts and prayers. He was only 25.

He was a police officer and made it his goal to keep lincoln county a safe place to live.He is also a hero b/c he went to iraq and faught for our country twice!! Its wierd how he went to iraq and put his life on the line and never got hurt BUT he came back home and he got killed in a car crash.

I'LL MISS YOU JT AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU!!!!!

I will pray for his family. Always a sad day when a fellow West Virginian dies, especially one who served his fellow citizens so bravely.

I'm very sorry for your loss, WV. Please give my family's condolences to Justin's family. His brave service to his country (both internal and external) will be remembered.

Re: West Virginia lost a hero today!!!

Sorry to hear that Pac. More young people I've known in my life have died in car accidents, than for any other reason. Both of my parents almost lost their lives in a car accident also.

I just can never get over how we collectively, as a country, turn a blind eye to how dangerous driving is in general, yet spend billions on research trying to prevent cancer, diseases, drug abuse, etc.., but anyone can get into a car one day and not come home. It happens too often.
