If I'm you, I definitely keep these six players:

Derek Jeter - All-around stats especially valuable at SS.
Adam Dunn - Still young, will hit HR even if he is traded.
Ryan Zimmerman - Very young, just starting to reach his potential at 3B.
Roy Oswalt - Your best pitcher
Aaron Harang - Not far behind Oswalt at this point.
Josh Hamilton - Always need to have a homer pick IMO. He'll get better.

If you decide to keep 8, then consider these guys:

Homer Bailey - duh.
Juan Pierre - He's a one-dimensional player at best. Depending on your stat set-up, he could be valuable, but I tend to avoid him.

If you are in Reds league, you might want to consider shopping Dunn, Hamilton, EdE, Bailey, Freel and Harang to other owners. It's nice to have Reds, but too many of them can sink your squad. See if you can acquire some better offensive cornerstones by playing to your opponents' weakness. A package deal for a lower top-ten player (David Wright, Grady Sizemore, Jason Bay, someone like that) would make your keepers look a lot more attractive IMO.

Phillips is an interesting fantasy player as well. I failed to note him when I gave you advice before. I'd definitely include him as a keeper over Pierre and Homer. Probably Pierre.

Cameron is a definite upgrade over Kendall. Mike is hitting his stride right now and can be a very complete player when he's on a hot streak. Kendall is basically worthless at this point in his career. Good move there.

I'm ambivalent about the Arroyo-for-Looper move. Looper has never really impressed me much, and Arroyo has (plus he plays for the Reds). I still have confidence that Bronson will be able to put up solid stats by the end of the year, barring injury of course. If this is just a question of who is going to ride your bench, I probably would have kept Arroyo. Then again, Looper plays for a team that (should be) much better than the Reds, so he probably has more potential for wins. Not a bad move to be sure, but I don't see it making a great difference in your fortunes.

The Carpenter move, BTW, is a great one. You've got two aces (Oswalt and Harang) already, and a third one will probably really help your team dominate. Freel is useful as a speed/position flexibility option, but he's injured and totally replaceable. Good job.

I believe it was a good choice to drop Looper because it could be reasonable to expect another trip to the DL being a former reliever. Altough Lugo has struggled, anybody in that Boston lineup has value.
