Re: 8/31/07 Reds @ Cards
JB points out that with Hopper and Keppinger in the one and two hole, this team was more exciting and winning more...
Thoughts? Anyone? Bueller?

Re: 8/31/07 Reds @ Cards
I posed the question last week--what is the difference between the Cards and the Reds. I've pondered this and it's decisions. Good ones versus bad ones. We continue to make bad decisions and we will continue unless the whole organization is changed from GM to manager and all in between.

JB should look at the scoreboard and let me know how Hopper and Keppinger hitting 1-2 would have stopped the patented Guardado gopher ball from leaving the field of play.

I dont' think Shearn helped much. It's scary that he 'earned' another start...although, there just ain't any options.

You forgot me and I know Highlifeman agrees.

Ron, what boggles my mind is why management has allowed the Eddie fantasy to get to this point. I don't think anyone OTHER than wk thought he had anything left. I don't get it.

It's ridiculous; it's that old fraternity mentality of remaining loyal beyond any sort of rationality. That's one of the things that bug me about Krivsky: his loyalty to former employees/associates. That's going to come to no good at some point when it might actually matter.
