Re: Suprisingly not from the Onion

Why do I now have a feeling John "Bluto" Blutarsky came from Des Moines?

Produce can be dangerous in lovers' quarrels. We had a local TV reporter who assaulted her boyfriend by throwing an apple at his head.

People with volatile significant others in the house should be careful when choosing fruits and vegetables to keep on hand.

I can understand using an onion in Iowa.

Corn is too invaluable.

Ever here of the corn stalk-er?

Obviously, that town needs a couple of unique self-defense classes taught.

After all, one never knows when one will have to defend oneself against an attacker armed with fresh fruit.

First Cheetos, and now an onion . . . Next thing you know, we'll be reading about someone tossing salad.

Re: Suprisingly not from the Onion

I'd have to say this thread has gone pretty corny.
