Re: Does Dusty get #12??
EE has only had the number for almost 2 seasons - I doubt that he's that attached to it. Don't know if he's kept the number through the minors, tho...

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
Dusty seems to be renowned for accommodating the players on his teams. If Edwin is attached to uniform number 12, my hunch is that Dusty wears another number. If Edwin is not attached to 12, my guess is that he selects another number in deference to his new skipper.

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
Maybe the first thing Edwin should do is offer Dusty #12 to quickly get on his good side, a side he never seemed to be on with Narron and, until Edwin completley caught fire, Mackanin.

Easy answer. Trade Edwin. Problem solved.

Do we still call Dusty "The Lizard?" Or should they trade Elizardo?

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
I've considered this...but with the Reds being a team lacking right handed bats, I'm not sure that's a good idea....
Unless there are other right handed bats to be obtained...

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
Don't be surprised if that happens, but not because of a uniform number

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
You're right about #11 - that's what he wore with the Dragons.

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
Just call him dude, or man, you will see that he likes using both those terms in his postgame interviews. Also watch for him using his kids as a shield when he blows a game with a dumb move. He seems to think that no one can be mean to him if one of his kids is up there with him. Except now those kids aren't that young.

Re: Does Dusty get #12??
Just ask Angel Echevarria! Number 12 was his before Dusty arrived in Chicago...and we all know what happened to Angel Echevarria after that!
