Wrote the Reds about the "Clash of the Choir" winners!!

Hi all,
I wrote the Reds last night about a way to thank Nick Lachey's choir group that won last night and I just got a e-mail back from the Reds.. They are going to see what can be done about including the Choir winners from last night in the Opening Day Ceremonies. They said more will be released as soon as they have more information.. I think thats sooo cool.. they were awesome to watch last night and the night before!!

Maybe the choir can sing the National Anthem

While I wouldn't mind the choir singing the National Anthem at a Reds game this year, Opening Day IMO isn't the game.

I'm sure the Reds will do something appropriate, though.

Why not Opening Day?

IMO, Opening Day is the most hallowed of baseball days, and while the choir thing is a feel good story, I'd almost let the Reds set aside a day just for the choir. Opening Day is the Reds day, and no one else should compete for the spotlight.

I imagine somebody in Nuxy's family will get the honor this year, if they want it.

I'd be shocked if they didn't celebrate Joe on Opening Day.

The choir will get their day/game, don't you worry. And they should, they deserve it.

They couldn't be any worse than some who have song the National Anthem in the past on Opening Day... as a matter of fact they might be the best, if they get the honor (plus they would be local).
