Too bad 2K had to sign that contract with the MLB. MVP ate up so much of my time...

I don't know how the gameplay will turn out, but Sony outdid themselves with the visuals. They're light years ahead of MLK2K8.

I'm still mad there's no baseball game for PC anymore and this game is for PS only. Maybe this coupled with the new Gran Turismo will tempt me to buy my first console ever.
That sounds like a dream game.

I have MVP for the PC. They do some killer stuff with the mods. But I found it unplayable because they tweaked the pitching so hard that I could no longer pitch effectively. It was too easy maybe to pitch before the tweaks, but way to hard for me afterwards, so I lost interst. Besides, I play so much Diamond Mind that it takes up any free time.

This game is only on Playstation 3 and PS2. EA doesn't make a baseball game anymore.

What I wouldn't give to see what EA MVP Baseball 2008 would look like on the 360 and the PS3.

Re: MLB '08 The Show PS3

Unfortunately, EA kinda got what they deserved with the marketing rights. They secured the rights to the NFL to be the sole engineer for Madden because ESPN was selling their game at almost 20 dollars cheaper. So when TakeTwo bought out the rights for MLB, that is why EA had to give up MVP and focus on college baseball.

I'm pretty sure it's being made for the Wii. The GameStop near me has it available for pre-sale..I'll check again to be sure.

It's definitely a Sony exclusive. A quick glance at Amazon and Gamestop shows it's only available on PSP, PS2, and PS3.

I miss MVP baseball.
Will they still have it for PS2?

It would probably be terrible like Madden and NBA Live.

Live sucks, no doubt, but you don't like Madden?

I think Madden is awesome.
