Re: Did anybody win the Opening Day ticket lottery?

Walt Frazier and Keith Hernandez came a knockin' on my door and told me I was reeee-jected. I'll seriously consider the power pack.

The donut continues here - 0 for 2.

I think I'm going to get hooked on powerball or walk around outside during a thunderstorm to see if I get hit by lightning. I think my chances are better doing that than winning Reds Opening Day tickets.

Re: Did anybody win the Opening Day ticket lottery?

A buddy and I just ordered our Opening Day tickets through our season ticket plan. We were able to pick up some pretty nice seats too, IMO. In fact, our Opening Day seats are better than our season ticket seats.

I've received nothing from the Reds. I wonder if that means I might get lucky?

Or my email address bounced? Oh well...

Re: Did anybody win the Opening Day ticket lottery?

After reading this entire thread I've come to the conclusion you're all a bunch of rejects! I find it amazing that no one, so far, has won at all on here.

I bought one of the Power Packs last year in order to get an Opening Day ticket (3 tickets/game). And though I had a great time at OD, with fantastic weather, I still took a financial loss when it came time to trying to sell off some of those other tickets. I ended up "biting the bullet" on three dates because I couldn't sell them (weekday games).

I won't be doing that this year.

I completely forgot to register, even though as I was driving to work I was telling myself too....

Oh well, looks like it was NEAR IMPOSSIBLE anyway?! Not a single redszoner got one?

Re: Did anybody win the Opening Day ticket lottery?

I liked it when you could get in line and get the the old fashioned way. There was a spot I went every year that didn't do the lottery system, first come first served. I always got a good seat. Now I'll probably have to go through a broker.

I've been thinking for some time that this lottery registration was just a way to build a mailing list.
