That was a great article. I think it speaks well of a person when even your ideological enemies praise you in that manner. I generally found myself in agreement with him, but even when I didn't I always respected the way he offered his views. We need more people like him.

I agree it was a good article and I've seen several from liberal pundits remarking on his intellect and his civility. As a dye-in-the-wool liberal, I don't know if I appreciated what Buckley brought to the table, regardless that I would agree with him little. How ironic that the apex he brought the convervative movement to has been dragged down by the likes of Cunningham, Coulter and Limbaugh. My guess is he's happy to be resting in peace from that ilk.
