Re: The Office

Confirming that Jan was doing her assistant made it a worthwhile episode to me.

I laughed my ass off when Jan took one of Michael's Dundee's and broke his little "plasma" television.

Dwight is so oblivious. I think they should run with that. Make him do a week of training in NYC and have him become the reluctant babe magnet.

Was the Office new tonight? I was playing basketball and my DVR didn't record it so I assumed it was a rerun. If it was new I am going to be pissed.

Yes it was new. Good episode tonight. You should be able to see it on NBC.com tomorrow if you didn't get a tape.

It was new, but NBC changed the schedule of things around this week. The guide on my TV had the shows in a different order than they aired, might be why you missed it.

Re: The Office

My favorite episode since the break last night...

I loved the line of Michael telling the girls in the club he was a bank teller after Ryan told him to say he worked in finance to impress the ladies.

IMO, the bar was fairly low after the first one. This one was much better.

Re: The Office

Last night was a pretty strong season finale...

The bit about the new HR Director continuing to think that Kevin was "special" was some of the finest sitcom writing I was witnessed in a long time.

I kept expecting that the twist on the new HR woman would be that Toby found out Pam thought he was cute and decided to stay, forcing the HR woman to go to a different branch and once again causing Michael to hate Toby. I didn't expect him to leave her in the lurch for a Jan pregnant with not-his-baby.
