What am I listening to?

It's been too long. Mods, I know the last thread got too big and my understanding of bandwidth is limited, but maybe we could give it a shot and close the thread down after 10 pages or something? Feel free to close if you need to, just thought I'd try.

I'm listening to good old Blur. 13, which is actually my favorite album of theirs.

Re: What am I listening to?

I loathed the closing of the last thread. Good call bringing back, even for a short-lived existence.

If you can find it, I liked the Puppini Sisters version of Walk Like an Egyptian. Bad songs are always better with Andrews Sisters' style harmonies.

I'll take this opportunity to pimp a Boulder, Colorado alt-country outfit called Crowboy:

OAR's new songs, which (unfortunately) I've only seen posted on their Myspace account. "What is Mine" is fantastic.

Springsteen concerts
Here is Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine guesting. Legend- wait for it- wait for it - derry

I must admit to pulling out Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits after watching him on Idol last week. The man's lack of shame while trying to entertain is incredible. Just listen to him as on "Red Red Wine" as he improvises "Everybody's having fun as we and UB40 are number 1"

Re: What am I listening to?

I've been listening to basically anything by Pavement. Such a great effin band. I just can't seem to get them out of my head. If the Ipod gets turned on, I always somehow end up on Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain or Wowee Zowee.

Peaches- The Presidents Of The United States Of America
Indie Rock And Roll - The Killers
Bobaflex Warriors - Bobaflex

Those are just a few "new" songs I've been listening to, they are awesome.
