Let's trade to get Peavy from San Diego
 Hey SD is 10 games back and Arizona is probably going to win it all this year with their combo of pitching/hitting. Good time for SD to unload those expensive contracts. I'll give them Bailey.

Peavy isn't expensive, he signed a cheap contract because he likes SD so much.

im sure the padres would want to start the conversation with bruce and one of your young stud SP's (cueto, volsquez, bailey) and maybe even want another prospect. To rich for me, lets just let cueto, volsquez and bailey develop into pitchers like peavy.
