So who was better, Javy Valentin at third, Johnny Bench at third, Johnny Bench in left, or Kevin Mitchell at shortstop?
Dusty would have sent in David Ross to pitch if the game had been closer. No matter what Pythagoras says, it was only one game. The only consolation is in what the Yankees are thinking now. And that it wasn't a home game. Maybe the Reds were just awed by playing in the House That Joe Carter Built. Aaron Harang has requested asylum, hoping to be offered a haven by Toronto's hitters. |
