New Sheriff in Tennis....
Rafael Nadal replaces Roger Federer atop the ATP rankings. Federer held the top spot for 4 1/2 years. That is one seriously nice run. And I don't think Roger is done yet. He and Nadal might pass that number one ranking back and forth a time or two. In any case congrats to both.

Re: New Sheriff in Tennis....
Federer's loss to Blake has me concerned though. The dude just dominated tennis for years than he loses to a guy that never once gave him any trouble. If anything, I think we're more likely to see Nadal and Djokovic swap the #1 spot over the next few years rather Nadal and Federer.

There's also been some thought that Roger is a good enough player to serve and volley a little more---especially against Nadal. I'm not sure that would work but I'd certainly like to see it tried in the Aussie Open and at Wimbledon. Federer vs. Nadal is certainly an interesting match up and one that I hope to enjoy many more times. Rem |

It's just what men's tennis needs right now, a good rivalry

Wait, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia aren't it? Shocking...
