Re: What college did you go to and what did you major in?
NKU, English major but only completed three years. Looking back now I wish I had taken something that would help me build my business. I'm probably like a lot of small business owners in that I found a skill I was pretty good at, decided to take it independent, and while I'm still good at said skill I am somewhat lacking in knowing how to turn it into a successful business. I'm not doing too bad a job of it, learning as I go, but it would be nice to have learned some of the fundamentals. I'm stumbling and bumbling around in Quick Books and hoping I don't make too much of a mess of things.

I don't know of another profession requiring an advanced degree like that where you work 40 hours/week (though they may be wierd hours) and get overtime if you work more. Crazy. Not to mention you can pretty much go anywhere in the country and not have to worry about finding a job.Myself, B.S. in Electrical Engineering, from Purdue University M.S.E.E. and PhD. from the University of Notre Dame. |

Re: What college did you go to and what did you major in?
West Virginia University and University of Central Florida as an accounting major.
Got a summer job between my junior and senior year in my current line of work, fell in love with the adventure, and never looked back. I'd have been a lousy accountant, anyway.

What year did you graduate from CC? I did in 1986. You don't run into many alumni from there.
