Re: Reds vs D-Backs 9/12/08
OK. Since Dusty values my opinion and reads this site:
Richar at SS - I like. Patterson and Bako? Seriously? I thought Bako worked with the young guys. That's what made him "special". But the vet's on the mound. And no matter what arm Webb throws with, do we really think these 2 guys are better options than Hanigan and Harriston? Integrity, please. A question: does Dickerson project to be a CF or corner guy?

Dusty just now stated...."No, he won't pitch". They're going to give him more time to heal his shoulder. Good.

Re: Reds vs D-Backs 9/12/08
And Bako is catching... why? What's today's excuse?

He is good with Harang
I just really wish someone would step in and be like look, Hanigan must start at least 4 times a week at catcher.

Grounder to EE and he sets his feet well and fires a perfect throw to first. He's certainly got the skills -- just needs to be consistent with them.

Re: Reds vs D-Backs 9/12/08
Considering what people have been saying about Castillo defensively (at Catcher), I wouldn't mind seeing him get a start or two. But he's a switch-hitter that can't hit from one side (can't recall which).
