I learned that the hard way

What things did you learn the hard way? My list:

1. Nothing means something.

2. Sometimes people have a turn signal on and don't intend to do what they're indicating.

3. Always empty all your pockets completely before during laundry, especially the ipod with your entire CD collection on it.

Don't let someone else start a fight for you.

Ignore at your own peril the little voice in your head that tells you what the right thing to do is.

Re: I learned that the hard way

Girls are generally more attracted to jerks than nice guys. Playing that role of jerk, however, can be a slippery slope.

If your "buddy" usually talks [stuff] about people behind their backs to you, you can go ahead and assume he's doing the same about you when you're not around.

My Dad was once 16 too.

Most people are one of those dumb people.

And some of those people are your friends and family so you learn to love them despite of it.

'Well that seems like a good idea' is a great way to describe something this is about to blow up in your face.

If she's unfaithful early on, she'll be unfaithful later on, too, no matter what she promises.
