It was an emotional firing.

I did think Caveat did put it best though. The Bucs knew they had a young up and coming head coach in Morris, and didn't want to let him get away like they did Mike Tomlin.

On a completely unrelated note, Leslie Frazier, who was the Bengals defensive coordinator the first two years under Marvin, has been up for some of the head coaching jobs lately.
