MySpace or Facebook

Which one do you use?

I have both, although I have really gotten to like Facebook a lot more. MySpace is more about layouts and graphics and has become a problem for spam (mostly porn). Facebook is more bland in regards to layouts, which is better in a way, but I guess it depends on the person.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

I have a Facebook account but rarely ever log on to it anymore. I was on there a lot when I first created it but not so much these days.

Just a few weeks ago I made a Facebook profile.

I thought it seemed a little juvenile for a 40 year old guy to do it but some friends talked me in to it and its great, I have run into so many people I haven't seen in years its amazing!!

BTW I am a member of the Chris Sabo and Barry Larkin Facebook fan club.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

I prefer Facebook, times 100. I deleted my Myspace, due to the porn and clutter and all the rest of the crap. It's easy to get a virus. Any of you with a facebook, feel free to add me.

I have both. I use both.

I'm still more familiar with Myspace though.

I've got both, but I'm on Facebook a lot more. Hardly ever on MySpace.

Yeah, I thought it seemed weird at first too. I had 70 or so high school classmates contact me the first couple of days so that was cool. I haven't seen most of them since graduation almost 20 years ago.

I have an old Myspace floating around, but I'm on Facebook constantly.

In fact, on Facebook right now.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

I shudder at the thought of Myspace anymore.

I'm not huge on the whole social networking sites in general, but I can see how they can be engrossing to some.

I have a Facebook though, for what it's worth.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

I never liked the look of Myspace pages. Since there is a stigma about adult men there being viewed as pedophiles, I never joined up there.

I'm using Facebook for friends and family and LinkedIn for professional contacts.

The average age of Facebook users has increased a lot in the last few months. I've been amazed how many of my high school and college classmates are popping up on it who weren't there last fall. Here are a couple of recent articles discussing the trend.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

Facebook, less clutter.

Someone should make a RedsZone facebook group.

Re: MySpace or Facebook

I was just talked into joining Facebook in the last week or so and it seems pretty cool. I've chatted with a couple of old high-school chums and it just seems more enjoyable than I expected though maybe that's the newness of it all.
