You don't see too many 7x7 points leagues...

Your team looks solid, but it depends on how many teams are in the league. The team is well balanced and should do well in all categories.
I have never seen 2B as a category before. |

It's a 10 team league.
We were doing TB (total bases) two years ago, but changed to 2B just last year. People were just loading up on HR hitters. This league is the most challenging league I have ever played in. After playing in 3 7X7 leagues last year, 5X5 leagues feel like a vacation. |

This league allows to keep two keepers. Mine were Quentin and BJ.
I had pick #8 and used it on Manny. The first 7 selections were Reyes, Pujols, Sizemore, Tex, Arod, Rollins and Berkman. My next picks in order were: R1 - Manny was the highest rated OF with the next two teams would have jumped on. So I knew if I wanted him I would have to grab him there. R2 - Aramis Rameriz (if I didn't pick him up there I would have to resort on Chipper or Cantu) Atkins, Wright, Longoria were already kept. R3 - Suzuki (didn't think he would be there) R4 - Uggla (Last of the top 5 2B available with 5 other teams needing 2B behind me) R5 - Young (Still SS eligble and completed my IF) The rest of the draft went highest rated player with pitching being the key. I only wish I had a better 1B option but many teams were drafting two at time regardless of need. |

The league is only 4 years old. A player can only be kept if they were drafted after the 5th round. So at the beginning Pujols and Arod were all 1st rounders and not eligble to be kept.
