Get to watch the game, don't have to listen to any of the announcers that annoy me.

McCann scratched. Passed Ball Ross in his place.

Having better players makes "the right time" or "the big hit" happen a lot more often. PLUS PLUS

Watch him hit a homer and gun down a couple runners.

Braves have a pretty good pregame show, with former CNN Sports host Fred Hickman, Ron Gant, Brian Jordan, and former CNN HLS' Jerome Jurenovich

Re: Reds vs Braves 4/24/09

There was a great article in ESPN Insider on Brave's youngster CFer Schafer. He got popped, while in the minors, for using performance enhancers, and got a 50 day suspension. While out, it really got him to do some "soul searching" about why he played the game. Plus, some of the adult "mentors" re-entered his life and really helped him with an attitude adjustment. Just an all-around good article.

Ump seems to have a pretty small strike zone so far.

Not that it's breaking news or anything but Volquez's changeup is nasty.
