What, nobody cares that Lecure went 6.2 shutout innings? Bats up 5-0 in the eighth.

Carolina's now tied 6-6 in the eighth. Huntsville lost the first of two. If the Mudcats win, they'll be in first place. Huntsville also trails 2-0 early in the second game.

Re: Friday 6/19/09 minor league updates

Carolina missed its chance to take over first place. Shaun Cumberland drove in the lead run in the top of the ninth, but Tennessee scored twice against Ramon Geronimo.

Huntsville still trails its second game, 2-0 in the fifth, so there's a chance the Mudcats could still be tied for first at the end of the night.

Was bound to be a slow night here. Alonso out, Votto not playing, Bailey/Wood/Sulbaran/Fairel/Stewart not pitching. Not a lot of action going.
