Re: Hanigan ROY?

Deserving, most likely, prob unnoticed or recognized for that by others, most likely.

Re: Hanigan ROY?

But, he's a catcher. He must bat 7th or 8th.

Dusty's unreal. It's way beyond my understanding.

You've got one player, Dickerson, an excellent Centerfielder, with a lifetime OBP of .396, and lifetime OPS of .882, yet he sits on the bench instead of playing every day so he can get even better. Yet, Taveras and his butt-ugly OBP of .274 and OPS of .552, is given more at-bats every game than any player on the REDS.

You've got another player, Hanigan, an excellent Catcher, so it seems, with a lifetime OBP of .411, and OPS of .808, and he bats either in front of a pitcher at 8th, or in front of a crappy offensive player like Rosales at #7. Instead of batting #2 and setting the table for the Bruce homeruns and Phillips' clutch hitting, he gets fewer at bats than any starter on the team.

Thank you Dusty Baker for once again causing this team to under-achieve.

Fire Dusty Baker. He's clearly the weakest link for the 2nd year in a row.

Re: Hanigan ROY?

Hanigan even runs pretty well for a catcher. I don't see any reason he shouldn't bat second in this lineup.

No kidding. Lot's of catchers have batted 2nd or 1st because they can hit .300.

The Crusty Baker would rather five a .200 hitter 4 PA's and handicap the club offensively though because he's really fast.

OOOOOHHHHH. He's really fast. OOOOOHHHH.
