A few weeks ago, a disturbing story broke that Morgan Freeman was maintaining a 10-year relationship with his step-granddaughter with whom he had a questionable sexual encounter when she was young. Yes, they are not related through blood, but Freeman is 72 and E’Dena Hines is now 27, which means she would have been 17 when they first... um... got together. Once Freeman's wife found out about their secret affair she filed for divorce, and now the Enquirer is claiming that once proceedings go through, he and Hines are set to wed.

“Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her,” says a family insider. Another source says, “Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E’Dena’s goal."

Consider us creeped out. Morgan Freeman is giving Woody Allen a run for his money!

Marrying a stepdaughter hasn't hurt Woody Allen's marketability in any measurable way.

Mr. Freeman has plunked down several million dollars to buy his own business jet from a manufacturer in my city. I figure that means he has enough in the bank to weather any backlash.

Didn't that hurt Woody Allen for a few years though? Freeman tends to work in front of the camera instead of behind it so it's not exactly the same. And Freeman isn't as young as Allen was so waiting out any possible bad press may not work. Whether it does hurt his ability to work or not only time will tell.

He's seventy two freaking years old. Haha, I'm guessing he could care less whether it hurts his ability to work and is much more concerned with his twenty something year old paramour.

Woody Allen casts himself in most of his movies as well.
The one advantage Woody has is he's generally involved in financing the movies himself.
