Just wondering if any Sun Decker's are attending the Redzone gathering?

Ummm... there is a sun deck gathering? First I ever heard of it. I know they are talking about something in ORG, but I am not an ORG member, so don't think I am invited.

If that is the one you are talking about, then why would I want to hangout with anyone from an online website that thinks anything I have to say is inferior? Would I be allowed to talk or would I have to remain silent and listen as the elitest spew their superior knowledge of baseball. Or would there be separate seating sections? The ORG members hanging out in the Diamond seats and the RZ members hanging out in the bleachers? Doesn't sound like much fun to me.

Yeah I just checked ORG. They are having some kind of gathering for the ORG members. If you are talking bout crashing the ORG thing, I might be up for that. I can be all kinds of annoying when I have been drinking and my baseball knowledge increases dramatically. Just check some my late night posts after a night of drinkin. I have had some pretty brilliant trade ideas.

I did not want this to be a trash the ORG thread I was just wondering if any Sun Deck people were going to the gathering. I do not want to get my hand slapped.

Well, even though it is called the "Red Zone" gathering, being how it is an ORG thread, no one from the Sun Deck can even post that they would like to attend. There is a reason they call this section of the website the "Sun Deck".

There are two stickies about the same gathering. Chip R.'s thread specifically invites both ORG and Sun Deck members after the pictures in his post. I used private message to contact GAC, and will be attending the gathering.

I will be at the Saturday & Sunday games, but on a road trip with a couple of buddies of mine - not specifically as part of the RedsZone gathering. Having said that, I'd still enjoy meeting any other RZ members around that weekend.

And I will concur that the meetup does seem to have the flavor of an ORG event, with a reluctant "oh by the way" nod to Sun Deck members. Just my $ 0.02 but hey, I'm new around here.

Either way...............3 outta the last 4 baby !
