Alright what is more likely this off season for Cueto:
1) torn labrum discovered?
2) diagnosis of degenerative hip condition forces him to the pen permanently?
3) lobotomy?
4) some combination of the above?

I'll go with 3. He's no mentally ready to pitch in the majors successfully.

He's a beloved former Red who was a hero in the 1990 World Series.

A responsible GM would fire the entire coaching staff and manager as soon as this game is over (actually the firing would have happened weeks ago).

I don't think any manager could win with this group now but it is time for a change in this entire staff

Since 6/20 he's done this:

ERA=8.29, FIP=6.01, K/9=7.7, BB/9=4.14.

I don't think it's so much his head as this: strike%=59.

He's went a prolonged spell without his plus command.

The Reds are hopefully working hard on figuring out why his command is going south.

5) Attacked by werewolves but, saved in amazing fashion by the teeny bopper vampire from "Twilight." Doesn't make sense to me either however, Dr Kremchek still performs Tommy John surgery days before opening day.
