Yorman Rodriguez is 2-for-3 with a double tonight in the resumption of a suspended game on August 8th. The regular game starts after this game is over.

Re: Friday September 4 Minor League Updates

Both Frazier and Francisco have continued to hit well in Louisville, with good pop as well. Both also continue to drive in or score important runs.

A good sign for the future, IMO.

Re: Friday September 4 Minor League Updates

Dayton is heading to the bottom of the 9th tied at 2.

And yes, Donnie Joseph is indeed slowing down his arm action on his offspeed pitches tonight. I have called offspeed or fastball for his last 20 pitches.

Francisco with a leadoff double to left. His 13th multi-hit game in his 20 games with the Bats.

Why are these new guys on the bats Bats, Hanigan and Bruce, hitting high in the lineup when the star hitters, Francisco and Frazier, are hitting lower down?

Re: Friday September 4 Minor League Updates

Donnie Joseph has been dominant since being drafted. Brian Pearl (9th rounder) has been very good too with Billings (8 BB/36 K in 24.2 IP). I was hoping they would promote him to Dayton before the end of the season.

Re: Friday September 4 Minor League Updates

Cisco cut in front of Valaika on a ball that Valaika was in great position for and errored it. Runners at 1st and 2nd with 1 out.

Infield hit to Valaika and Cisco was going for it and was not in position to take the throw at 3rd.

Loaded with 1 out

Del Rosario is pitching

Grounder to Cisco ends the inning

The Bats are headed to extras and I'm outta here. I'll catch the finish in the car.
