Seriously...what are the odds
that Toothpick has ever even glanced at any of his player's career stats?
We know he can't be bothered to actually know who's on the 40-man roster. That's according to him. The 25-year-old Balentien's career minor league OPS is 0.871, while the 30-year-old McDonald's 0.734. That's a significant difference. But Darnell is the Toothpick choice. Bear in mind that Jonny Gomes was actually DFA'd to keep McDonald at the start of the season. I just wish Jocketty actually had the guts to tell the blind Castellini the obvious.
