Re: 4-7-10 Cards @ Reds Round 2 7:10pm
Nick Masset looked great in the 8th halving his ERA on the year - from 45.00 to 22.50.

Re: 4-7-10 Cards @ Reds Round 2 7:10pm
Cards have a righthander coming on. Francisco might ph for Masset. Tony "how long can i make a 6-2 game last" Larussa might have something to say about that.
Nope. Nix on to PH for Masset. Last edited by texasdave; 04-07-2010 at 09:44 PM. |

Re: 4-7-10 Cards @ Reds Round 2 7:10pm
Rally Time as Hernandez raps a leadoff double that rolls all the way to the wall.
Nix looks at a called third strike. Nice having him on the club. Stubbs swings at ball up high for strike two and then whiffs on the next pitch. Cabrera has an RBI double down the line that plates Hernandez. 6-3 bad guys. Last edited by texasdave; 04-07-2010 at 09:48 PM. |

Nice start in the 8th for the reds, lets see if we can get things going.

Cabrera steals third for no apparent reason.

There's nothing worse than second guessing and nobody second guesses like members of red zoan. Nobody complained about Baker bringing in Ondrusek until AFTER he imploaded.

Yeah, no real criticism deserved for Baker on that decision. 10 scoreless in spring, looked great Monday. I probably would have went with him, too.

Phillips swings at a first pitch. Surprise. 1 out bottom 9.

That's it. 6-3. Considering the Reds just faced 2 of the best 3 pitchers in baseball, it can only get easier from here.

Re: 4-7-10 Cards @ Reds Round 2 7:10pm
Second guessing is the essence of baseball. The pace of play allows examination of what has just transpired. So there can be no discussion whatsoever about a play after it has transpired unless something positive is said?
