1,2,3 inning for Bailey. That's the way to do it after you get a couple of runs!

Seven pitches that inning. Thankfully, it's difficult right now to hit the ball out of PNC, and Red pitchers are therefore being aggressive. I'd love to see that aggressiveness become contagious throughout the season.

Throw strikes. Babe Ruth's dead, Barry Bonds retired, and Albert Pujols is the next series.

Stubbs goes 0-2 to 3-2 then singles past the shortstop.

Re: Reds vs Pirates 5/12/10 Game Thread

Seriously, if your a Pirates announcer, and playing to the Pirate fan base, what more do you have to talk about? Its been 19 seasons since a winning season, and frankly their immediate future doesn't look all that much brighter either. I'm sure they would have been plenty happy to have the showboating Barry Bonds thru the 2000s rather than seeing him in San Fran.

And while I type, Stubbs shows up the Pirates by running quickly around the bases to score another run. What a jerk I tell ya.

Re: Reds vs Pirates 5/12/10 Game Thread

Hanigan continues to obliterate the Baseball, and Stubbs continues to show that he could become a dangerous player if he got on base more.
