Re: Thanks... But No Thanks
I, frankly, don't get it. It seems like a forced butt-kissin'. I'd eliminate it.

Re: Thanks... But No Thanks
The concept is good; the execution not so much. Something more along the lines of a thumbs up option could accomplish the same thing using a lot less space -- no need to see who gave the thumbs up. I really like the thumbs up/down system BP uses on their comment feeds.

Re: Thanks... But No Thanks
Now we've got "live topic"? Or has that been there before and I never noticed it?

Agreed! I like seeing new features tested out. Some will be good, some won't, but it's nice to see the site continuing to evolve.

Re: Thanks... But No Thanks
It appears that if the last post was made in some very recent period, it becomes a "live topic".
My latest theory, with a bit of research. 320

This is what I thought. I'm late to the party on this though

Re: Thanks... But No Thanks
Bummer. I just saw a post I liked and wanted to "thank" someone. Guess I'll keep my opinion to myself.
How about bringing back the rep system, with positive rep only (or no points) and only showing the incoming reps to the recipient? Nobody else needs to know that someone's post got repped.

Board Moderators may, at their discretion and judgment, delete and/or edit any messages that violate any of the following guidelines: 1. Explicit references to alleged illegal or unlawful acts. 2. Graphic sexual descriptions. 3. Racial or ethnic slurs. 4. Use of edgy language (including masked profanity). 5. Direct personal attacks, flames, fights, trolling, baiting, name-calling, general nuisance, excessive player criticism or anything along those lines. 6. Posting spam. 7. Each person may have only one user account. It is fine to be critical here - that's what this board is for. But let's not beat a subject or a player to death, please. |
